How we work

Editorial and Research Policy

How Stock Analyzer creates, checks, labels, and updates its educational market content.

Our purpose

Stock Analyzer helps readers understand public-company data and build repeatable research habits. Our guides explain concepts, market conventions, and screening methods. They are written for education and general research, not to tell an individual what to buy, sell, or hold.

Original analysis

Every guide must add practical value beyond a list of facts. That may include a worked example, a comparison framework, common failure modes, or a checklist a reader can apply. We do not publish scraped articles, lightly rewritten source material, or pages created only to attract a search query.

Sources and verification

For exchange rules, instrument identifiers, filings, and company results, we prefer primary sources such as exchange websites, regulator publications, and issuer reports. Third-party market data can be delayed, adjusted, incomplete, or calculated differently. Readers should verify time-sensitive figures against the relevant exchange or company filing before acting on them.

  • Definitions and formulas are checked for internal consistency.
  • Market-specific guides link to an official exchange or regulator where practical.
  • Material assumptions, limitations, and the difference between a screen and a recommendation are stated near the analysis.
  • Pages show a review date when freshness materially affects usefulness.

Automated tools and AI

Some screens and summaries use rules or AI-assisted processing to organize stored financial and price data. Automation can miss context, so its output is labeled as a research aid and should not be treated as a rating or forecast. Editorial pages are reviewed for usefulness, clarity, and unsupported claims before publication.

Corrections

If a factual error changes the meaning of a page, we correct it promptly and review related content. To report an issue, include the page URL and the specific figure or statement through our contact form.

Independence

Advertising does not determine our screens, conclusions, or coverage. Sponsored or affiliate relationships, if introduced, will be clearly disclosed on the relevant page.
