Further, it manufactures and supplies lifeboats, fast rescue boats, outboard and inboard diesel engines, davit systems, and hooks for commercial shipping and oil and gas industries; manufactures proprietary self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboats used in deep sea diving operations; and provides MRO services relating to lifeboats, davits, load testing equipment, fire safety, and other marine assets. Additionally, the company engages in the contract management and consultancy services to original equipment manufacturers; operates mass transit and other urban transport; imports and exports life boats and life saving; and fabrication and repair of fibre composite boats. The company was formerly known as Satang Holdings Berhad and changed its name to Destini Berhad in September 2011. Destini Berhad was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
